Foundation Connector

All Tests are using a 3" Hydraulic Cylinder, therefore all PSI readings on the pressure guages should be multiplied by a factor of 7.068 in order to get the true pressure applied. 7.068 is a figure that is the area of a 3" diameter circle (the diameter of the cylinder shaft). The formula for figuring the area of a circle is pi-r², where pi = 3.14159 (1.5 x 1.5 x 3.14159 = 7.068)
