American Hurricane House has developed a state of the art connector system. This System is easy to use and cost effective. Until now there are no pre-certified connectors on the market for residential contractors to use. Contractors would have to build their trusses on job-to-job bases. Trusses can now fabricated on-site or be prefabricated in house and trucked to the job site along with prefabricated walls.

This connector system will increase your 6 inch 18 gauge C-channel and track sales. When a homebuilder comes to your store, show them the poster provided HERE. The builder can buy truss connectors from your store that are pre-certified. The contractor should be fully aware of the cost savings alone. Our Eave connector ends the labor cost to trim out the Eave. The current labor cost to trim out the eave on a wood structure is $4.00 to $8.00 per square foot. Our connectors currently retail at $4.00 per square foot on 24-inch centers and $5.50 on 16-inch centers. This system pays for it self in labor cost alone, also being wind load certified to 250 mph.

American has provided for the distributor or the contractor web site information. This information will show the contractor HOW TO BUILD an American Hurricane House with a power point presentation. American has also provided connector position drawings and lengths of C-channel charts HERE for the distributor or contractor to use in building the trusses.

Our connectors are shipped and stored in the flat. The connectors are pre-perforated to bend by hand. The “How to Build” power point will show the builder exactly what to do. The builder will catch on in minutes. The American system is very simple to use.

I know the American system is different. Change is good. Due to “Climate Change”, we must begin to think of the consumer. Wood is not the future. Light gauge steel is.
